Engagement model

A clear scope, a fixed fee, and a monthly rhythm you can plan around

Our packages give you a transparent starting point. The exact scope and fee are confirmed in writing after we look at your file, so you pay only for the support your business actually needs.

Onboarding

From first call to a clean first close

Four steps, most of them on our side. You will know where you stand at every stage.

1

Initial consultation

A 20-minute conversation about your entity type, accounting software, transaction volume and what you need from your numbers.

Day 1 · free
2

Scope assessment & written quote

Send last year's return and one month of statements. We review volume, bank feeds and reporting needs, then confirm the tier and the exact fee in writing.

Within 2 business days
3

Onboarding & cleanup

Chart of accounts review, bank feeds connected, portal access set up, and any backlog cleared as a separate fixed-fee project so the package starts clean.

Weeks 1–3
4

Ongoing partnership

Recurring ledger maintenance, reports on a fixed date, filings tracked, and a named accountant who answers your questions.

Month to month
The monthly rhythm

What happens between the 1st and the close date

Once onboarded, every month follows the same routine. You always know what we are doing and what we need from you.

  • Days 1–5: Bank and card feeds pulled, transactions categorized, receipts and bills matched.
  • Days 5–10: Reconciliations of every bank, card and payment gateway account. Open questions sent to you in one batch, not a trickle.
  • Up to the close date: Adjusting entries, payroll and sales tax entries posted, trial balance validated, close checklist signed off.
  • Close date: P&L, balance sheet and cash flow delivered by the 20th, 15th or 10th depending on your package.
  • All month: Deadline tracking for estimated taxes, sales tax, payroll filings and annual reports.

Scope determination factors

When confirming your tier and fee, we look at:

  • Monthly transaction volume (lines on bank and card statements)
  • Number of bank, credit card and payment gateway accounts to reconcile
  • Accounts receivable and payable volume
  • Payroll headcount and contractor 1099 count
  • Sales tax registrations and economic nexus exposure
  • Number of entities, owners and states
  • Any catch-up or historical cleanup required first
Our pricing philosophy

Transparent packages, confirmed against your actual file

A business with 50 monthly transactions and multi-state sales tax has completely different needs from one with 500 transactions and simple payroll. The package gives you the starting price. The written quote makes it exact.

01

Scope transparency

Every package publishes its line items and every add-on has a published price. There is nothing to discover on the invoice.

02

Scalable support

Move up a tier as volume grows, or down if your year turns out simpler. We tell you when you are over a limit rather than billing quietly.

03

Predictable operations

Flat monthly fees, no hourly surprises, and any add-on confirmed by email with the fee stated before work starts.

Communication

One accountant, one channel, one business day

  • Named accountant who stays on your file and learns your business.
  • Second reviewer on every tax return before it is filed.
  • Response time of two business days on Core, one on Complete, same day on Advisory.
  • US-hours overlap of four, six or a full working day depending on package, plus a US phone line.
  • Scheduled reviews: quarterly call on Complete, a 60-minute management meeting every month on Advisory.
Security & data

Your financial data stays protected

  • Encrypted document portal and e-signature for every exchange. No tax documents by plain email.
  • 256-bit encryption in transit and at rest for client data.
  • Access limited to the accountants and reviewers working directly on your account, under binding NDAs.
  • Read-only bank access through official feeds. We never hold your banking credentials.
  • You own your data. A full export pack, including the software file and workpapers, whenever you ask.
Questions

Before you get started

What do you need from me to produce a quote?
Last year's tax return and one month of bank and credit card statements. From those we can see your entity, your volume and the state of the books, which is enough to confirm the tier and the exact fee within two business days.
How much of my time does onboarding take?
Usually one to two hours in total: a kickoff call, granting portal and read-only software access, and answering a batched list of questions about unusual transactions. Everything else happens on our side.
Do I have to switch accounting software?
No. We work in QuickBooks Online, Xero and NetSuite. If you are on spreadsheets, Wave, FreshBooks or desktop QuickBooks, migration to QuickBooks Online or Xero is a one-time project priced on the add-ons page.
What if my transaction volume changes?
If you exceed your tier's limit two months running we will tell you and quote the next tier. If your volume drops, we move you down. Either way the change is agreed in writing before it affects your fee.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Packages are month to month with thirty days' notice and no exit fee. You receive the full export pack: your software file, every return we filed and the workpapers behind them.

Send us last year's return and one month of statements

We will come back with the tier that fits, the exact fee, and what the first ninety days look like. No charge for the scoping call.
